Proud to join Mayor Oliver Gilbert, Florida Memorial University, St. Thomas University, the Miami Heat, the Special Olympics Florida, educators, and a host of volunteers for a great morning of competition and great cause.
The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In Miami-Dade County, over 4,949 athletes throughout the county participate.
