On Saturday, May 22, 2021 School Board Vice Chair Dr. Steve Gallon III was humbled and honored to receive the “GLO” Award, in honor of Gloria Ford at the 5th Annual Generational Cure Black & White Gala for his unselfish contribution to the learning and lives of our youth over the past 3 decades. Their mission is to “Uproot the inherited issues of our older generations to cure the prolonged problems in today’s youth.” They seek to provide “a beacon for those concealed within a repetitive cycle of dead ends.”

CEO Charles Williams said, “To the unheralded hero of Generational Cure that has answered our beckoning call, both unselfishly and without compromise. The youth of our community thank you.” when speaking about Dr. Gallon.
