Dr. Gallon was honored to celebrate the retirement of an M-DCPS Teacher Icon, Mrs. Fa’asi’ u Kelly who served for 41 years, in which 23 years were at Miami Northwestern and 18 years were at Miami Carol City Senior.

Dr. Gallon was honored to give the Keynote Address at the Miami Dade Community College’s Black Male Symposium, where he motivated over 500 male seniors by sharing his personal and professional journey.

Dr. Gallon met with the members of the Power U Center for Social Change. They discussed several issues and collaborative ways to improve our schools. Dr. Gallon believes that “true leadership requires engaging all stakeholders, even when their issues and concerns many not fit one’s narrative. Public service and leadership are about the true exchange of ideas.”
