PRESS RELEASE FROM THE OFFICE OF DR. STEVE GALLON III

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, School Board Member Dr. Steve Gallon III held his monthly Student Recognition Ceremony at Carol City Middle School. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators attended the celebration designed to recognize the success of students in District 1.

Students were honored for turn-around, academic achievement, attendance, generosity, improvement, kindness, and showing a positive attitude in the pursuit of learning. Each student received a certificate of achievement, a medal, and a Student of the Month T-shirt. Since his election in 2016, this marks the 8th year that Dr. Gallon has consistently recognized District 1 students on a monthly basis.

“It is always a pleasure to recognize our students for success in academics, attendance, attitude, and actions that reflect positively upon themselves, their schools, families, and community,” said Dr. Gallon.

“We appreciate all of the educators and family members that came out to support our students’ success.”
