2018 LFM Summer Education Camp at Love Fellowship Ministries church.
The three partners; Clarendon Services Incorporated, Love Fellowship Ministries and Bunche Park Elementary School; worked to provide a positive summer camp experience for the students and we think it was a success.
They were really proud of the fact that this year they were able to achieve their goal of producing a book for each child to demonstrate what they are capable of, and to lift their self-esteem. Their goal was to pollinate dreams, and they did. They are proud of their books. There were other achievements also.
Mrs. Aponte, principal, and her team at Bunche Park Elementary School (BPES) were very supportive & helpful. The reading and math specialists were also very helpful.
They had a great group of community & church volunteers who also contributed to the success of the program.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, let’s remember that there are two words that can make a huge difference in your school and community this year: You matter. If students, parents, teachers and community stakeholders know that their contributions and presence make an impact every single day, we can make a change.
