On Saturday, August 8, 2020, Dr. Steve Gallon III partnered with the Miami Dolphins Foundation and distributed 1000 hot meals to the community at NoMi’s Restaurant and Grill in North Miami.

“Service is the rent we pay for living,” said Dr. Gallon. “It was a great day partnering with the Miami Dolphins Foundation for a COVID-19 Food Relief Drive at Nomi’s Restaurant and Grill in North Miami. To provide over 1,000 hot meals to District 1 residents and families during these challenging times was a blessing, and it also allowed us to support and stimulate a local, small, Black-owned business.”

Dr. Gallon gave special thanks to Jason Jenkins of the Miami Dolphins, the City of North Miami, the Association of Haitian Educators of Dade, and all partners who made this event a success.
