Miami-Dade County Public Schools Board Member Dr. Steve Gallon III served as keynote speaker on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Membership Expo, highlighting the organization’s longstanding impact on small businesses and minority entrepreneurs.
“For decades, the Chamber has been a driving force—supporting small businesses, elevating minority entrepreneurs, and connecting community, commerce, and policy,” said Dr. Gallon.
During his remarks, Dr. Gallon addressed the evolving intersections of business, education, and government, and their impact on local and minority-owned businesses across Miami-Dade County. He emphasized the importance of strong partnerships, measurable outcomes, and collaborative efforts to expand economic opportunity.
“The success of our communities is tied to the strength of our businesses,” Dr. Gallon said. “We must work together to ensure local and minority-owned businesses not only survive, but thrive.”
