WHO:            Dr. Steve Gallon III and 100 District 1 High School Seniors

WHAT:          District 1 College Prep hack-a-thon

WHEN:         Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE:       Florida Memorial University

                     15800 NW 42nd Ave., Miami Gardens, FL 33054

WHY:       Dr. Gallon in partnership Livius & Florida Memorial University will host the Hack-a-thon to help in preparing High School seniors for the college admissions process. They will receive help with college applications, drafting college essays, financial aid and developing their personal narratives. There will also be scholarships awarded at the event.
