On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, School Board Member Dr. Steve Gallon III held his monthly Student Recognition Ceremony at Carol City Middle School. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators attended the celebration designed to recognize the success of students in District 1.

Students were honored for their leadership, academic achievement, attendance, generosity, improvement, kindness, and showing a positive attitude in the pursuit of learning. Each student received a certificate of achievement, a medal, and a Student of the Month T-shirt.

“I am once again deeply honored and humbled by the tremendous support shown at this month’s celebration of our students,” said Dr. Gallon. “The continued success of District 1 is driven by the unwavering commitment of our parents, families, and community partners. Your engagement remains essential to the education and empowerment of our students. Tonight’s ceremony truly reflected the strength of that shared dedication.”
